Past Present Future
I am leaving in 11 days. I was going through drawers in my room, sorting items for storage, and I found a book I had written when I was 10, as well as an autobiography. I took the time to read through them and came to the conclusion that I have the same interests now as I did in grade 5.
For example:
"Howling at the Moon" written and illustrated by Paul Rudolph Kehler, was a book about a boy, Mike, who was going on a hunting trip with his dad. Over the course of the weekend Mike and His Dad befriend wolves and put poachers behind bars. It is quite an adventure. On the back of my 3 paged book there is a write up about the author. "Hi my name is Paul Rudolph Kehler and I am 10 years old. This book is probably for experienced readers. I try to make my stories as long as possible.
Autobiography:
My name is Paul Rudolph Kehler. I'm ten years old and I'm four foot nine. I go to Yale Elementary School. I'm in grade five. My teacher's name is Ms. Fushtey. I have lots of freckles and blue eyes. I like to wear baggy clothes. I don't do anything with my hair in the morning. I love camping.
I go out in the woods and explore I like to read and go fishing. I play soccer and baseball in Hope. My hobbies are rock climbing, biking and snowboarding.
I am good at rock climbing. When I am older maybe I will work at a climbing gym. I want to be a full time firefighter. In the next couple of years I want to get a job at Fraser River Raft Expeditions.
My favourite color is red. My favourite food is Pizza. I like Red Robin's 'screaming hot buzzard wings'.
Conclusion? I am proud of my middle name, and the fact I am 10 years old. I love the outdoors and animals. (Though I was on a hunting trip). I am good at what I do. Not a lot has changed, except I am not four foot nine.
