Preparations
For the last couple of days I have been in Ladner preparing for the big trip. More accurately: waiting for the big trip. I arrived Friday evening and met Dan Carmen and Sol at MEC. I had arrived earlier so had all my shopping done. After what seemed like hours everyone was happy and prepared to go. We then had to stop over at an organic grocery market to pick up diapers for Sol. I held Sol while Dan and Carmen stood in front of the diaper shelf doing very complicated math to ensure they were paying bottom dollar. The math took a little longer than expected so we were a little late for Havier's party, (Dan's brother).
Dan caught a ride up to whistler with Havier and his family to do one last job before we headed south. Carmen, Sol and I stayed here in Ladner to do all the last minute shopping and packing. It has been very relaxing, aside from the 5 hours spent in Value village and Superstore yesterday.
Today is the last day, Dan will be back this evening, we are going to pack the car tonight and leave early tomorrow. I believe we still have to do some shopping, though the list is short.
Shopping List:
Soccer ball
White gas for stove
Currency exchange
Battery charger
Stamps
